There are over 1,000 individual objects in our collection ranging from the late 19th century to the present day. They include a uniform worn by General Colin Powell, a Purple Heart awarded to the family of a sailor killed in the Pearl Harbor attack, and a hat worn by boxing legend Jack Dempsey during his service in the United States Coast Guard.
